As part of our support to the community around the coronavirus situation, the Global Widows Empowerment Foundation has been able to play a part by distributing some essentials and culturally appropriate foods to some women within the black African community in Nottingham.
In order to reduce the risk of the negative health impact of loneliness and isolation, we have been able to put up a measure of making wellbeing calls to the isolated ones to cushion the effects of loneliness.
The wellbeing calls were frequently made to check on the wellbeing of our concern people in our community.
As the lockdown is still on, please if you know anyone who might be needing any form of support, we are more than happy to be of help.
STAY SAFE AND KEEP WELL
